Join us for a book discussion around We of Little Faith: Why I Stopped Pretending to Believe (and Maybe You Should Too) by Kate Cohen. The book explores the ideas around the fact that ven though a growing number of Americans don’t believe in god, many remain reluctant to say so out loud. Kate Cohen argues that not only is it rewarding for those of little faith to announce themselves, it’s crucial to our country’s future.
This book promises to be a catalyst of great discussion! Don’t worry if you’re not able to finish the book before the meeting - we always have great conversation regardless at our book discussions!
Please note the new location - Meier’s Creek Inner Harbor!
Come learn about one of our fascinating local free thought historical figures - Matilda Joslyn Gage!
Matilda Joslyn Gage is mainly known for her contributions to the women’s suffrage movement, but she also campaigned for Native American rights, abolitionism, and free thought. She is the eponym for the Matilda effect, which describes the tendency to deny women credit for scientific invention. She influenced her son-in-law L. Frank Baum, the author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz (and another famous local historical figure!).
We’ll visit her home to learn about her social justice commitments: Haudenosaunee rights, women's rights Room, the Underground Railroad, religious freedom, as well as the Wizard of Oz and other local history.
Admission to the museum is $7 for adults, $5 for students and seniors, and free for children age 4 and under.

REVIEWS FOR BEST FRIENDS ETERNALLY
“Somehow more unhinged than the Gramps series, Best Friends Eternally is best watched after a shot of espresso and a brandy cocktail. Donald James Parker has some pet issues that are so unexpected… it’s just jaw dropping.” - AVA BROWN
“Opens with upbeat worship music playing over Vietnam footage and somehow manages to go downhill from there.” - SCUFFED REVIEWER
“Apparently, Donald James Parker, or as we fondly know him, Gramps, knows who I am. This was a shock to me” - NAME WITHHELD FOR PRIVACY
