Sandwich Saturday is hosted by We Rise Above the Streets Recovery Outreach weekly at Billings Park in Syracuse. Groups and individuals from around CNY come together to hand out sack lunches, toiletries, clothing, and other necessities to community members who could use a hand, whether they are unhoused or just having a hard time making ends meet.

An important part of Sandwich Saturday is connecting with the people we’re serving, making eye contact, and helping them find what they’re looking for among the items we’re distributing.
