Join us on August 12th for an outing to Dresden, NY! The Robert Green Ingersoll Birthplace Museum will be celebrating the 30th Anniversary of being open under the auspices of the Center For Inquiry. We will be organizing carpooling to this event for anyone from the Syracuse area who wants to go.
The celebration will start with museum tours at 11am featuring new and expanded displays. A complementary sit down lunch will be provided and the new gazebo will be dedicated to long time museum director and editor of Free Inquiry magazine Tom Flynn.
The highlight of the afternoon will be keynote speaker Seth Andrews. Seth Andrews is host of The Thinking Atheist Podcast and is an award winning podcaster and author. He frequently quotes Robert Green Ingersoll and promises to give a memorable talk.
Please let us know at cnyhumanists@gmail.com if you’re interested in attending—you’re not locked in, but we want to give the folks at the museum an idea of how many of us will be there!
