Syracuse College of Law University Professor David Driesen will speak about his upcoming book, The Specter of Dictatorship: Judicial Enabling of Presidential Power. The book relies on case studies of democratic decline abroad and at home as a basis for critiquing the U.S. Supreme Court’s expansion of presidential power.
