Please join the CNY Humanist Association for an afternoon of inspiration and learning at the Museum of the Earth!
We will meet at 10:00 am at the museum’s admissions desk.
Admission is $9 for adults, $7 for seniors (65+), and $6 for youth (4-17). Children 3 and under are free.
Here is our schedule for the day:
10:00 am - Arrival & Introduction
10:30 am - Ancient Seas Over New York Program (30 minutes)
11:00 am - Guided Tour of Exhibits (30 minutes)
11:30 am - Exploration of the other exhibits
The Museum of the Earth offers a wide range of exhibits that appeal to all ages, including Survivors: Up Close With Living Fossils - a hands on exhibit that included a touch tank with various specimens. There are also many places to stop and interact with the exhibits, find fossils, try on dinosaur costumes, read a book, see live animals, watch corals swaying in the waves, and stand next to a real North Atlantic Right Whale skeleton and Real Mastodon skeleton.
