In honor of Halloween, Larry Slosberg, of the CNY Observers, will be speaking about how astronomy can explain myths and other strange beliefs.

The CNY Observers are a group of local amateur astronomers who promote amateur astronomy, space science, and other science activities throughout Central New York through lectures, daytime and nighttime observing sessions, promotion of local activities on the CNYO website, and other forms of public outreach.
