On Saturday, April 25, the City of Syracuse is having a "Clean Up 'Cuse" event to coincide with OCRRA's county-wide Earth Day Litter Cleanup. Earth Day is a few days before the event, and the Week of Action (a response to the National Day of Prayer) begins a few days later. Let's get outside, welcome spring, and help our community by picking up the litter that has accumulated over the long winter!
We will meet at Lewis Park near the playground and clean up litter, using tools and bags provided by the City, who will then come and pick everything up when we are done.
This is a family-friendly event. Everyone of all ages and abilities is welcome, and Lewis Park looks to be in a low traffic area. We will have donuts and coffee, and the bathrooms will be open for us. Dress for the weather in "play clothes." Looking forward to seeing you there!
